Friend,

I’ve missed you so much!! So much has been happening lately. First and foremost, I met someone. He has been a huge motivation for me and has inspired me to do more with my life and be a better person. In watching him go after what he believes in, it has pushed me to ponder what the next steps were going to be for me in my own journey. I realized that I wanted to do more with my blog, social media, as well as get more involved in the community. Sometimes we want so much out of life that it makes it hard to decide where to start. I’ve realized a creative people, we don’t have to limit ourselves to just one thing. We can do it all! Just one foot in front of the other with God by our side.

My desire is to start promoting local artists from different avenues (such as fashion, women empowerment, and spirituality) and incorporate them into my lifestyle. The goal is to support local, so that more people can have a piece of the pie. The thought came from an event that I attended, that was amazing. Unfortunately, the event didn’t get much support from the locals. I thought, “this is just a shame”. People are not properly informed on what’s going on near them and support is low. Some people have the knowledge, but because of jealousy or personal vendettas, they CHOOSE not to support. In my opinion that’s selfish and tragic. We can all win if we work together, support each other, and build each other up.

I am about to start traveling every now and then and have decided to let you in on the fun. I decided why not let you know how to do what I desire to do affordably, and still have a great time. It’s all about incorporation for me. No friend left behind. It starts with being the change we wish to see in the world, so I’m going to bring you along.

I am also going to bring my art to the blog and start selling it. I love painting and drawing but don’t want to keep any of it. I just want to make it. I want to share a piece of my heart.

Overall, my life has been beautifully unfolding as God keeps me focused on His will. I have a business meeting in about 20 mins (it’s now 7:45pm), and I decided to sacrifice relax time in order to make some official changes in my life. I have faith that everything is going to work out if we trust God with our lives, stay focused, and keep going.
