Hello loves! Oh how I have missed thee. Obviously it’s about time for a journey update so that I can catch you up on all of the new happenings with me.

So……

First and foremost, I met someone. He has been a huge motivation for me and has inspired me to do more and be better. In watching him go after what he believes in, it pushed me to take a second and ponder what the next steps were going to be for me in this journey called life. I instantly knew that I had to do more with my blog, social media, as well as get more involved in my community. I want so much out of life that it makes it hard to decide where to start. I’ve realized that I am such a creative person that I don’t have to limit myself to just one thing….I can do it all! Just one foot in front of the other. Simple right?…

Back to the update…..

I’ve been working on my theme and following on my Instagram page and am steadily working towards a goal. My goal is to have an ENGAGED following of 10k by the end of the year. My plan is to start promoting local artists from different avenues (such as fashion, food, etc.) and incorporate them into my theme. The goal is to support local and give everyone a piece of the pie. The thought came from an event that I attended that was amazing but yet it didn’t get that much support from the locals. I thought, “this is just a shame”. People are not properly informed on what’s what’s going on near them and don’t even get the chance to support. Some people have to knowledge but just don’t want to see others win and CHOOSE not to support!! In my opinion that’s selfish and tragic. We can all win if we just support each other and build each other up instead of tear each other down.

In other news…..I am about to start traveling every now and then and have decided to let you all in on the fun. Everyone loves to travel, right? I decided why not let the world know how to do it affordably and still have a great time. Travel tips will be coming to the blog before you know it!

I am also going to bring my art to the blog and start selling it. I love painting and drawing but don’t want to keep any of it. I just want to make it. What better way to go about it than to sell it?! I’m going to be advertising it on my social media platforms.

I’m also on the hunt for a house….. As stressful as that sounds…. I’m gonna just leave that topic alone for the time being (thanks for understanding).

Overall, my life has been a juggling act and it’s getting harder instead of easier. For example, I have a business meeting in about 20 mins (it’s now 7:45pm), and I decided to sacrifice relax time in order to make some official changes in my life. I have faith that everything is going to work out if I just keep going.
